Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate MYP English Teacher and Grade 3 Homeroom Teacher to join our vibrant international school community in Panyu, Guangzhou. In this role, you will guide and mentor young learners, deliver engaging MYP English lessons, and manage classroom pastoral care as a homeroom teacher to foster a nurturing and academically stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities
Teach MYP English language and literature following the curriculum framework.
Serve as the Grade 3 Homeroom Teacher, overseeing student wellbeing, daily routines, attendance, and holistic development.
Create structured, interactive lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide constructive, timely feedback.
Maintain positive, proactive communication with parents regarding student performance and school activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning and school-wide events.
Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, English, or a related field, plus a recognized teaching license / TEFL/TESOL certification.
Experience: Prior experience teaching English and/or working in international/bilingual school settings (MYP experience preferred).
Skills: Excellent classroom management, strong organizational abilities, and strong cross-cultural communication skills.
Work Authorization: Must meet all legal requirements for obtaining a valid Z-Visa / Work Permit in China.
Compensation & Benefits
Monthly Salary: 28,000 RMB (Pre-tax, all-inclusive package).
