1. 空话 (Kōng Huà):Empty talk,Speech or conversation lacking substance, often characterized by vague or meaningless words.

   - Example: 

Tā zǒng shì shuō xiē kōng huà, cóng lái bù fùzhū shíjiàn.)

他总是说些空话，从来不付诸实践

He always speaks empty words and never puts them into practice.

2.空手 (Kōng Shǒu):Translation: Empty-handed, Having nothing in hand, often used to describe someone returning without any achievements or results.

• Example: 

Tā kōng shǒu huílái, yīwúsuǒhuò.) 

他空手回来，一无所获。

He came back empty-handed, without any gains.

 3. 甘心 (Gān Xīn): Willingly; content; To be satisfied or content with a situation, indicating a sense of acceptance or willingness.

-example

Suīrán tiáojiàn bù hǎo, dàn tā gānxīn qíngyuàn.

虽然条件不好，但他甘心情愿。

 Although the conditions are not good, he is willing and content.

4. 无聊 (Wú Liáo):Boring; tedious,  Describes something that lacks interest, excitement, or engagement, often resulting in a feeling of boredom.

   - Example: 

zhè ge diànyǐng zhēnshi tài wúliáo le, wǒ chàdiǎn rùshuì. 

这个电影真是太无聊了，我差点入睡。

     - (This movie is so boring; I almost fell asleep.)

5. 哩 (Li): A colloquial expression, A casual way of saying "了" (le) in Mandarin Chinese, often used in spoken language.

   - Example:

 Zhè jiàn shìqing zuò wán li, wǒmen jiù kěyǐ xiūxi le.

这件事情做完哩，我们就可以休息了。

     - (Once this thing is done, we can rest.)

6. 漂亮话 (Piào Liang Huà): Pretty words, speech or words that may sound attractive or pleasing but may lack sincerity or substance.

   - Example: 

Bié guāng shuō piàoliang huà, shíjì xíngdòng cái shì guānjiàn别光说漂亮话，实际行动才是关键。

     - (Don't just say pretty words; practical actions are key.)

7. 老实 (Lǎo Shí): Honest; sincere, describes a person who is straightforward, truthful, and reliable in their actions or words.

   - Example: 

tā shì ge lǎo shí rén, cóng bù shuō huǎng.

他是个老实人，从不说谎。

     - (He is an honest person and never tells lies.)
